THE PHANTOM QUEEN RETREAT
13 - 18 September 2026
"Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights;
it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living."
— Miriam Beard
These retreats are created for a woman standing at a crossroads… what I call the Time of Enodia — the sacred crossroads of midlife.
It is no accident that you feel restless here. This is the threshold where the choices you make begin shaping not just the next decade, but the legacy of your becoming. Our retreats are the intentional pause at that intersection — the space to look clearly down each path, to lay down the maps written by others, and to choose the direction that leads toward your most powerful, most authentic self. Like a torch in the dark, this experience is designed to illuminate what has always been waiting within you.
This is not a vacation, though it unfolds in breathtaking and energetically potent places — from the lush greens of Ireland to the volcanic shores of Iceland, from the vibrant labyrinths of Marrakech and beyond. Beauty is not incidental here; it is part of the initiation. Each retreat is carefully curated, deeply intentional, and woven to stir the soul. Luxury is present, but it is not the point. The point is transformation.
We gather in a circle of trust to honor the wisdom you have gathered across decades — the triumphs, the heartbreaks, the roles you have inhabited, the resilience you have embodied. Together, we gently and firmly release the outdated stories and limiting identities that no longer fit.
This is courageous self-discovery.
This is radical self-acceptance.
This is the reclamation of authorship.
Before, she may say, “I’m stuck. I’m restless. I don’t know what I want anymore.”
After, she knows who she is becoming — and trusts herself enough to walk toward her, fully, authentically, unapologetically.
The What…
In this sacred land, we call in our ancestors help guide our transformation…
The ancient still-beating heart of County Meath - where the veil is thin and ancestral energies are palpable. To stand upon the legendary inauguration site of the High Kings, or within a temple aligned to the winter sun, is to call upon the deep memory of the land itself.
In this potent space, dedicate your intention to the fierce, transformative power of the Mórrígan, the Great Phantom Queen, who guides you to shed old narratives and stagnant stories.
By honoring the raw, wild spirit of Ireland, you receive the clarity and courage needed to step fully into your next, powerful chapter.
County Meath, Ireland
County Meath, beyond its natural splendor, is home to two of Ireland's most historically and spiritually significant sites: Newgrange and the Hill of Tara.
Newgrange: Ancient Temple and Astrological Center
While originally categorized by archaeologists as a passage tomb, Newgrange is now understood to have served a much broader function. It was an ancient temple of immense astrological, spiritual, religious, and ceremonial importance. In this sense, it shares a parallel with later cathedrals, combining ritual significance, social prominence, and the commemoration of notable individuals. We’ll tour the property and slip inside the sacred chamber - a momentous opportunity to connect with our ancestral energy.
The Hill of Tara: Heart of Ireland and Seat of Kings
The Hill of Tara stands as the preeminent treasure of the Boyne Valley. Used for over five millennia for burial and assembly, it achieved legendary status as the site where the High Kings of Ireland were inaugurated. From its sweeping slopes, one can survey the wider Boyne Valley landscape, including sights such as Trim Castle, the Hill of Slane, and Loughcrew Cairns. It remained a vital center for Gaelic identity in subsequent centuries and continues to be regarded as the beating heart of Ireland today. We’ll have the afternoon to wonder the hills and leave our wishes behind in one the sacred Wishing Trees.
Bellinter House
Bellinter House, a splendid Georgian mansion designed by Richard Castle, was built around 1750 for John Preston, who was the grandfather of the first Lord Tara.
The house is situated on the south bank of the River Boyne, offering a view of ancient Tara, and is located approximately six miles from the town of Navan.
Its name, correctly written as Ballinter, originates from the Irish or Gaelic phrase, “Balle an tSaoir,” meaning "the home of the stonemason." Bellinter is located in the County of Meath, within the civil parish of Assey and the barony of Lower Deece.
The Why…
Why? There are the reasons we give out loud… we need rest. We long for connection. We just want space to think. All of this is true - but it is not the pulse beneath the surface. Beneath it is something wilder.
Midlife is not a crisis to survive; it is an initiation to walk through. After decades of tending, building, achieving, performing - after years of being what was needed - we reach a quiet threshold. The roles begin to loosen. The old identities no longer fit. And somewhere deep inside, a voice rises: Who am I now, when I am no longer becoming who the world asked me to be?
We have been handed a story about aging that whispers diminishment.
It is a lie.
This season is not about fading - it is about ignition. And yet so many women who appear accomplished, admired, and “together” are privately starving for something truer. Success has fed the résumé, but not the soul.
Reinvention is sacred work. Identity death is tender. Rebirth is disorienting. This kind of becoming asks for witnesses - for women who will sit at the edge of the fire with you and say, I see you. Keep going. Cracking open is braver in community. Safer. Holier.
This retreat exists because women are standing at a rite of passage no one is naming. It is a crossing. A shedding. A reclamation of authorship. It is the moment a woman stops living as a character in someone else’s story and begins writing her own - with a steadier hand, a fuller voice, and a truth that is no longer negotiable.
